El Pueblito de Jesus
As in any large city, the need for services to assist the needs of the homeless exists in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  The non-profit organization “Fondita de Jesus” approached in order to create the temporary housing & orientation facilities for homeless individuals in San Juan.  The result was the conversion of an existing building to a homeless center with              1 bedroom apartments, library facilities, “soup kitchen” and administration offices.  Since 1995?, this Pueblito de Jesus has been operating successfully as an important center for the homeless and the community.
